Meet the Staff and Key Persons

Here at St Hubert’s Pre-School we have a successful key person system in place. Children are placed in to their key groups and this allows them to build strong and positive relationships with their key persons. All of the key persons have a great relationship with each other and are always continually working towards creating a nurturing and reflective setting to help your child to achieve their fullest potential. Relevant Disclosure and Barring Service checks are carried out on all members of staff and volunteers regularly.

Dawn Mehigan – Pre-School Owner, Manager, Designated Child,
Protection Officer, Parent Liaison Officer, Emotional and Mental Health Well-being Support Person and SENCO. Dawn holds a level 3 qualification in Childcare and has her Leadership and Management in a level 4. Dawn has achieved her Childhood and Family Studies Degree BA (Hons) (Level 6).

Nicola Atkiss – Pre-School Training Co-ordinator and Designated Child Protection Officer. Nicola holds a level 3 qualification in Childcare and also has her BTEC Health and Social Care. Nicola has also achieved her Childhood and Family Studies Degree BA (Hons) (level 6).

Staff in The ‘Inspire Room’

Laura Wroe – Pre-School Deputy Manager, Key Person of the Butterfly Group, SENCO, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Well-being Support Person, Parent Liaison Officer and Communication and Language co-ordinator/WellComm Screening Officer. Laura has her Early Years Education Studies Degree BA (Hons) (Level 6) and a Level 4 in Leadership and Management.

Anita Ginder – Key Person of the Dragonfly Group and Anita holds a level 3 in Childcare.

Zoe Pettifer – Key Person of the Bumble Bee group. She has level 2 and 3 in Childcare.

Chloe Atkiss – Key Person of the Caterpillar Group and she is working towards her level 3 in Childcare.

Debra McKenzie – Lunch Time Supervisor and she has her Level 3 in Childcare.

Isobel Sheldon – Lunch Time Supervisor. She has her Level 4 in Health and Social Care.

Jyoti Ahtti – Lunch Time Supervisor and Learning Support Assistant. She has her level 2 in Childcare.

Staff in ‘The Believe and Achieve’ Room

Bernadette Davis – Key Person of the Ladybird Group. She has her Level 2 Teaching Assistant and her Level 2 Early Years Development Worker and has her Level 3 in Childcare.

Sukhi Mahal – Key Person of the Dragonfly Group. She has 3 in Childcare.

Anita Borikar – Key Person of the Bumblebee Group. She has her TQUK Level 3 and her Diploma in Nursery Training.

Richelle O’Connor – Key Person of the Butterfly Group. She has her level 3 in Childcare and level 6.

Saima Kousar– Learning Support Assistant and she has her level 3 in Childcare.

All staff are First Aid, Safeguarding Module 1 and Food Hygiene trained.
